Chalet Portia, is a quirky 1940’s French ski chalet located on the scenic Route de Pecles in central Chamonix. A short walk to quality restaurants, super markets and fashion stores, Chalet Portia is an even shorter stumble from the numerous bars and clubs that make up Chamonix’s bustling night life.
So far as getting on the slopes goes, the Brevant / PlanPraz high speed ski lift is within walking distance for the fit and energetic. Alternately those with children or lots of ski gear need only wander 3 minutes downhill to the nearest bus and train stops. Here you will find regular services (approx every 10-15mins) to surrounding ski domains including Flegere, Grand Montet, Le Tour and Les Houches, making it easy to explore the whole valley.
